Ben Affleck Mick Jagger Join Forces To Help Congo Refugees

The movie was shot in the fight torn North Kivu Region Of Congo, where thousands have fled their homes after heavy fighting resumed in August. L UNS refugee agency (UNHCR) hopes to raise U.S. $ 23 million in war-ravaged nation African to pay for emergency aid and clean water. Hollywood actor Ben Affleck and British rock luminary Mick Jagger have launched a media campaign to draw awareness to the refugees affected by recent conflict in Democratic Republic of Congo. At the heart of the campaign is the 23-minute video Gimme Shelter directed by Affleck and filmed by John Toll, both Oscar winners.
